Lectrus Adds Depth to Senior Leadership Team - Monday, January 16, 2012

Lectrus Corporation, the leading electrical systems integrator and custom metal enclosure manufacturer, recently announced the addition of new strategic management talent to the company. These new leaders join the existing Lectrus management team to further growth and improve profitability at the company.

Jerry Driscoll has been appointed to the position of Executive Chairman. In this role, there will be no change in his day-to-day involvement in the operation of the company. Jon Nash has joined Lectrus as interim CEO. With over 15 years of executive level experience, he brings a very strong background in manufacturing leadership in engineered-to-order environments.

Steven List has joined Lectrus as interim CFO. He has more than 18 years of expertise providing executive management and financial advisory services in industries such as energy, manufacturing, and telecommunications.

Steve Doerman will transition from his interim role in Houston to his corporate position as EVP Operations. Andrew Whelan has been appointed interim VP/GM and is focusing on numerous improvement initiatives at the Houston Operation. He has a history of success in making sustainable improvements in productivity and working capital for companies.

We are excited to be adding this depth to the Senior Leadership Team at Lectrus. This will increase our focus on improvement throughout the company and continue the growth of our business. We are confident these changes will also improve customer satisfaction and profitability in the near term.

Lectrus Announces Educational Webinars for Early 2012 - Friday, December 16, 2011

Lectrus Corporation, the leading electrical systems integrator and custom metal enclosure manufacturer, has announced two educational webinars for early 2012. These free broadcasts are designed to inform end users, engineers and customers about challenging topics such as HVAC design and electrical integration practices in select industrial markets. Building on the success of their webinars from 2010-11, Lectrus will involve expert speakers from some of the company’s key partners. Each webinar will last 45 minutes, with 15 minutes of Q&A to follow.

On January 17, 2012, Lectrus is hosting its first webinar for the year, “HVAC Considerations for Equipment Centers”, starting at 11:00am EST. This webinar will review HVAC design best practices and code requirements for hazardous and non-hazardous environments in industrial and commercial markets, including specific nuances associated with utility-scale solar power and pipeline construction. Speakers from Advanced Energy Engineering & Design and Specific Systems will share their practical experience in cooling challenging environments, which will include the use of outside air to complement HVAC systems. The company’s second webinar, “Large Scale Solar Station Integration: Trends & Best Practices”, will be held February 21, 2012 also at 11:00am EST. The webinar will share trends and best practices resulting from the integration of critical power distribution components (transformers, inverters, re-combiner boxes, disconnect switches, conductors & terminations) both in the field and at the factory. Speakers from Cooper Power Systems will review the market size, trends and integration recommended best practices. Webinar attendees will learn tips to write better specifications to improve the procurement, design, construction and delivery of prefabricated substation inverter skids and enclosures.
